axial rr10 bomber with independent front suspension, is it possible? So..... I like the solid rear and independent front setup, will this be possible with the Bomber? I mean, I know its possible but is their parts available right now to make it IFS or will that be something to look for in the future? And yeah I know about the Yeti but Im not wanting to go that route :-) |
Re: axial rr10 bomber with independent front suspension, is it possible? The yeti arms bolt right on, there's extra hinge pin holes in the RX box bracket "thumbsup" Seriously though. Why. |
Re: axial rr10 bomber with independent front suspension, is it possible? You want a solid rear axle, trailing arms, an IFS, tube chassis, but not a Yeti? Maybe explain what it is about "that route" you don't like because so far you're describing a Yeti. |
Re: axial rr10 bomber with independent front suspension, is it possible? Maybe because everyone has a yeti and he wants to do something different? |
Re: axial rr10 bomber with independent front suspension, is it possible? I just really like the rr10.......... but want independent front :-) |

Re: axial rr10 bomber with independent front suspension, is it possible? Nope. Impossible |
Re: axial rr10 bomber with independent front suspension, is it possible? buy a yeti....then put said bomber cage on Yeti. I dont know if it will work but there ya go. |

Re: axial rr10 bomber with independent front suspension, is it possible? As I read this, I feel like Dom DeLuise is going to jump out from behind the curtain. |
Re: axial rr10 bomber with independent front suspension, is it possible? Lol |
Re: axial rr10 bomber with independent front suspension, is it possible? Just save all of us a lot of time and dumb questions and buy a yeti. |
Re: axial rr10 bomber with independent front suspension, is it possible? *scratching head* Sure. It's entirely possible, You'll need a Yeti underpan and full front suspension, gearbox, and all fittings. Oh, and the rear axles will be oddly narrow compared to the front, unless you go the full Yeti rear. Oh, and the cage will no longer fit, so you'll need a Yeti cage. Oh, and you'll need the full battery cage of the Yeti. By then you'll have a nice, be it achingly slow, Yeti with a 32 turns motor, blue shocks and Bomber screws&nuts as the only original parts, but it wìll be IFS, there's that... ;-) |

Re: axial rr10 bomber with independent front suspension, is it possible? I do think that the bomber would look pretty cool with an IFS on it, you could always keep an eye on eBay for the Blue Monkey IFS Wraith kit, in my mind that would be the best route if you don't want to get a Yeti. |
Re: axial rr10 bomber with independent front suspension, is it possible? I would just use the exo front end and the center piece of the chassis myself. |
Re: axial rr10 bomber with independent front suspension, is it possible? 1 Attachment(s) I think it would be a nice to see, but then again, this was the first thing I built out of axial "stuff". It's a blue monkey RC IF/RS kit. |
