Wheelbyte's RR10 Bomber My wife picked me up a Bomber for Christmas during the black friday deals. Luckily for me she let me have it early so I could start messing with it!!! First order of business was to upgrade the power in it. Also got the wheels picked out. For foams I ordered Crawler Innovations 5.5 Double Deuce's. For tires I went with Ottsix VooDoo U4's in silver. |
Re: Wheelbyte's RR10 Bomber Great start! i love those wheels!, i went the oposite direction with mine, i upgraded the whole drivetrain with hd gears, beef tubes, trusses, links, unis and the vanquish stage 1 kit first. next is motor and esc, third is tires and wheels and then curries if i can talk myself into another $400. im gladf axial built this kit, i have high hopes for it! |

Re: Wheelbyte's RR10 Bomber Getting my shocks set up on my bomber. In the front I used the Proline Powerstrokes designed for the Slash rear (6063-01). They are 102mm in length. In the rear I am running a dual setup..... I am using the new Proline Powerstroke XT that are designed for the Yeti they are 128mm in length. I am also running the RC4WD Ultimate Scale shock as a dampener only it is 100mm. I am still messing with spring rates and shock oil. Proline Powerstroke XT 6275-00 http://www.wheelbyte.com/b_board/bomb15.jpg I added the homemade King shock sticker http://www.wheelbyte.com/b_board/bomb16.jpg http://www.wheelbyte.com/b_board/bomb17.jpg http://www.wheelbyte.com/b_board/bomb18.jpg |

The window nets are made by Associated and they are for a SC10B. You can get them on Amazon or @ Tower. Associated Window Nets SC10B |

I am liking the shocks so far..... right now I am running 30wt oil and blue primary and secondary springs on them which are the softest. But I also have the secondary dampners as well. Here is a link to Proline's Tuning guide Proline's Spring Rate Setup Chart |
Re: Wheelbyte's RR10 Bomber Thanks again. I'll be using the XTs strictly as secondary dampers. I've gotten really good at tuning the Traxxas big bores and Axial springs combo that I run on all my rigs now. I'm hoping that these XTs will eliminate the shock fade I was starting to see after the first half hour or so of driving. Normally I like really bouncey rear ends but not on my Bomber. |
