2nd HR was internal gears for my SCX trans. Someone else make them because those are awesome so far. Definitely not HR. I know they have Blue stuff but most is Red. I'm not a fan of Red so I pass it by.

I've never seen an aluminum c, knuckle or rear lockout break no matter how cheep or expensive it is. Give them a try. I don't drive a expensive new car or truck either or need one so what do I know.

I do like the HR Wraith dig aluminum tranny cases! I've built 3 or 4 Wraith trannys using the HR aluminum tranny cases, and zero issues with them!

I found their aluminum steering rods for the Wraith at my LHS and bought them this evening to try out. Do you think that was a mistake?

Hot Racing is just one of those hit or miss companies. Excellent trans gears and housings so far. Some of their stuff is just straight up goofy looking. They must have 2 design teams.

Well, they're on there now along with a Hitec HS-7955TG high torque servo. The HR links were $12.99 so it's an inexpensive experiment. The servo was less than $100 which I was ok with albeit still more than I wanted to spend but it seemed there were few choices less than my orig budget of $75. |

I have there knuckles and hubs and rear lock outs and have no issues out of them at all. Used blue thread lock putting them together. Its about like anything you hit it with a big enough hammer and it will break. There type g piggybacks are butter smooth on mine. I know they had a bad machined set of cvd's but have fixed that problem.
