Default Skid and lower rails fitment issue?

Am I the only one who's having this problem? I can get the back 2 bolts on each side to bolt up no problem but front holes just dont line up. Ive got 2 wraith and one bomber skid and neither match up. Got a replacement lower rails from axial but same problem.

I had an issue the first time too, almost felt like I was drilling new holes when I screwed em in.

Now I start with the two front screws by the battery tray, and get them in halfway, then kind of rotate the cage down and to the rear to get the back holes lined up. Then the last two middle screws are easy. Hope that helps.

Make sure to leave them all loose before trying to start another one
Allows a bit of movement

But I had the same problem too the first time I put it back together

Wow guys I'm really surprised to hear this! I had mine apart and had no problems what so ever putting it back together.
I will be taking it apart again soon switching to a super shafty bomb proof transmission with a DMG adaptor plate. I will post an update to let you know if I have any problems. Can't imagin i will because of no problems before.
Regards,
Joe

It's not really that bad putting one back together because it's already been broken in. It's building a fresh one that gives a bit more issues. Geisse, look at the holes on the skid when you get it apart. You can see where the original builder had to "walk" the screw into its hole leaving some scarring to one side.

Yep, mine too. I just start them and then tighten, it gets better after you have had it apart and back together oh, say 20 times...
