Not UK, but only takes a week or 2 to get things from them and no import tax. That's where I got mine.

Just installed MMX & HH Puller Pro 3500kv.... Bumped up pinion to 14t with RRP 64t slipper, plenty of wheel speed on 3s and still have decent low end for crawling. Auxiliary channel for drag brake is very nice! ![]() |

Anyone have any good recommendations for brushed motors? I have a CC SW3 with a Traxxas Titan 21t with 10 tooth pinion and I am waiting for my 2 speed. I'm primarily looking to increase wheel speed by a little keeps temps low but mostly looking for good torque. Truck is driven on trails with a lot of rocky areas for good crawling and creeks. will the Titan 550 21T Motor (Traxxas Summit Motor) work with the stock AE3 ESC? will the motor 550 fit the motor mount without issue?

It worked for me for a while but my ESC ended up dead. Idk if it was a combo of that as well as a power hungry savox that mureldered it

Speed was pretty fast. I wouldn't crawl with it unless you run the 2speed like I was. In low gear with the 2speed it had plenty of torque to where I stripped out the wheel hex nuts when it got bound up. I was not running an external bec at the time. But then I switched to the sidewinder 8th motor and ESC and wrecked the cheap savox. Upgraded to the 1231 and now run a bec wired directly to the servo and run everything else off the esc

Does the sensor wire that comes with the HH PP 3500 work with an MMX? Or do I need a special wire from CC? Is it recommended to solder the 6.5mm bullet leads on the motor that cane with the MMX or just install 6.5mm bullets on the existing leads? |

| ![]() Yes sensor wire that comes with the motor works, but you need the MMX sensor wire adapter. And yes unsolder the stock bullets that come on motor wires and solder 6.5mm bullets that come with MMX.

So leave the leads and just replace the bullets (ie. don't replace the leads)? Relative to the adapter...are you referring to this? TowerHobbies.com | Castle Creations X Series Sensor Harness |

Yes thats the adapter you need. And yes, leave the wires soldered to the motor, unsolder the bullets on the end and solder bigger ones included with mmx.

| ![]() This is what I would recommend as well. The motor leads are plenty thick, and it can be trouble to remove them at the tabs because of heat wicking. We have to turn up our 80 watt iron all the way to get bullets off the 540 and XL size pullers. I have a 150 watt station on order just to help with swapping out bullets for folks using the MMX with 6.5mm bullets.

The Mamba X line of ESCs do not come with sensor wire adapters, unless you purchase one from Holmes Hobbies. We include our own style adapter for free that doubles as the sensor wire. The Castle setup uses a harness that plugs into a normal sensor wire, so it will have an extra plug junction if you use the Castle brand adapter.
