MMP with TenShock SC411 on 2s, 3s and 4s. I haven't done any real crawling since putting this in, but it'll creep along the dirt pretty slowly, even on 4s. Going fast is so much fun. The wife even openly mused at it's speed (and she leans in the direction of thinking the whole thing is a waste of time and money). I have tossed around the idea of picking up a used Slash 4x4 for bashing and using the bomber for crawling, but I can't justify it yet.

Titan 21T 550 and a HW WP 80 on 3S. Killer affordable 3S combo and zero fear of a motor being damaged by water and mud.

HW Justock 60A ESC w/ HW 21T Justock sensored motor.

It does surprisingly well and stays pretty cool.

60A is plenty in most instances. Most of us use overkill for electronics and that's why we live in a world where we think every RC needs at least 100A.

Is there any torque loss with the HH Puller Pro Stubby versus standard size can?

had the GOOL set up, 40bux for a brushless esc and motor.
just bought the AE-3 and 3150kv set up used for $70 and its great.

honestly, I don't see the hype in spending money on this stuff..

the gool was great and so is the setup I have now that came out of a yeti.

motor spins, you go forward, same shit..

and I have about $900 into my bomber, I can say that ide buy a gool again and save some money,

yea and you can break down the elements of why better name brands are better than others .., but bashing in the woods is bashing in the woods

I'm sure. Longer cans have more torque. Why would you want the stubby?

Holmes recommends the Standard 540-size Puller Pro, the Stubby is better utilized in lighter-weight rigs, such as the SCX10. There's guys that even run the XL-size Puller in the Bomber for max insanity...

Ended up putting in the HW XR8 SCT/3600kv combo into my bomber. Got about 4 minutes in and the spur took a shit.

Robinson Racing 64t spur installed but not been able to get a run in yet.

I stuffed a Castle 1512, with a Mamba Monster 2 ECS on 4 cells in mine. It was the kit edition, only other upgrade was MIP drive shafts. So far its holding up well.
