I have to chuckle a little cuz I went with the kit so I knew what I had and could pick my electrics. I'm estimating I'm in about eight hundred to a grand now.

It's fast and slow.
You can have a lot of fun with a hobbywing 1080 and a trailmaster Sport 550 for a very minimal cost in the RTR or kit as well.

Not as versatile as a brushless Mamba x combo but much easier on the wallet

I like the esc mount.

You need serious help with your pics though.

I have been quiet lately since my bomber is pretty much finished aside from a few small changes to come here and there, but I have been slowly chipping away at fitting this body on it so I can have it Truggy style. Still trying to get it to sit down all the way.

I fitted RC4WD's King Dual Spring Shocks for Axial Yeti Rear [#Z-D0064 ] on my RR10's tail. I made this possible cutting of their Faux Reservoirs to fit the in. Whilst using the RR10's upper shock mounts I can use the full travel of these shocks. They fit perfectly: On the upper limit of the travel there are only little 3mm before the shocks reach their fixed stop. From the 120mm spring set [#Z-S1293] I added at the end the black marked springs combined with the longer ones of the two shocks included in the shock set. I'll try 40 w oil.

Some recent updates here...

The MaximumRC window nets came - they are really cool. Took me a bit of fiddling to figure out how they mount. I started with screwing them to the outside of the frame with the cage screws and couldn't figure out why the holes were so big. Duh. They mount BETWEEN the cage members top and bottom, then a 2mm screw in the lower front corner into the cage tube. Super secure and fit just perfectly - love these things - the exact look I had been searching for since I'm not doing an interior on mine for accessibility to internals.

Got a pair of 5mm white LED headlights and mounted them to the front cage vertical, wired up to an open aux port on my receiver - these and the rear taillights are on when the rig is powered up.

The wheel widener rings finally showed up from Locked Up - I think they're worth doing, albeit lots of $$.

Yeah, the rear radiator is cool. I got the parts tree with them, a lower mount, and that led taillight thing - how does that work? What color of lights do they put in those? Or are they for the front?

It's the exo rear light bar.
I put a set of HeyOk KOH lights in mine. It's pretty nice.

Got some new shoes in today. Set of Hyrax, and a set of Flat Iron XL's. Couldn't decide which set I wanted, so got them both to try out and see which ones work the best for me. Have some 5.5" CI DD foams that might work with these. I believe one set is medium, and the other firm.

Also received some screws to mount my number panels, and a handful of misc items for a couple other rigs I have. So I'll have something to work on for a few days.

Have some wheels in my cart too, but just don't have the "courage" to checkout yet.

Will post a few pics once I have something to look at.

Great looking Bomber!
I figured that's what they were, but I don't recall what the lights are for. Some kind of coding or something, right? Where can I find info on that?

I see it does fit with the griffin rad.

They are KOH lights, probably for safety and identification during races?

Reds are brake lights, amber is for others being able to see your rear visually in dust, always on, blue is the "don't nerf me if I am holding you up, I'm a slower class vehicle, I will move asap", side by sides for example, always on as well. There is the Stella tracker that is common now for vehicle tracking. So they can have VCPs, virtual checkpoints, in the middle of nowhere to help ensure you don't cut the course.

On my KOH lights, the amber and blue are flashing.
I wonder why HeyOK made it that way?
