Smoked an ESC, so replaced that and added a CC BEC to solve that problem in the future. Reroute some cableing to make the interior a little easier to work in as well. Started on a metal roof rack, mainly to get back in practice brazing, it's been a while.

Fitted SSD-RC Suspension aluminium trailing arms (grey) because the plastic stock ones had flexed and deformed at the rod end.

Thumbs down Re: What did you do to your Bomber today?

Axial seems to have quality issues. The front shakes violently when I plug in the battery all of a sudden. Steering won't work. Just replaced the ESC. Their customer service is terrible. Suggestions? Throw off cliff and purchase a Redcat crawler? It seems the more you spend on Axial products, the less quality you get.

Changed the primary gearing from (Pinion:Spur) 13:56 to 14:64

Reason? The mesh isn't great with the 56 tooth spur gear - the standard motor carrier can't be swivelled to get a good mesh. The best mesh I could get is about half a tooth depth.

What you can see. Got the new Pitbull Rock Beast Xl mounted with a new set of CI foams.

JECRacing wraith trailing arms
Incision stainless link set with rpm Revo ends

What you can't see is a set of under drive axial hd gears for the rear.

Finally time to take it back out for some serious crawling.
