What did you do to your Bomber today?

I can't believe this thread hasn't been started yet.

I got a package from RRP Hobby today. I got a Vanquish Stage 1 kit (knuckles, chubs, and clamping lockouts), two sets of Beef Tubes, Vanquish front links (upper and lower), and a KNK stainless fastener kit. Everything is now installed except the stainless fasteners. I'm just doing a few of those at a time.

I converted my Bomber to 3 wheel drive last Friday evening. ;-) I'm waiting on a set of front axles to fix it.

I installed my SSD front axle with HD gears and ordered a Mamba Monster X (thanks to Screamer for showing me more ways to spend my $$).

Hopefully my UCFab trailing arms and RC4X4 links will be here tomorrow so it will be ready for the G6 this Saturday.

Is that just slid into the "Fuel Tank"?

Any more detail pix?

Swapped over a different set of wheels and tires. The combination of the wider offset on the wheels and the tires being a bit wider makes this thing much more stable. Definitely ramped up the fun factor.

Put some CI Dueces Wild foams in the RC4WD IROK's, now I can actually turn a corner without rolling over. The stock foams that came with the IROK's was so soft that every time I made a turn with any speed faster than a walk the tires rolled under and it would try to roll. I can actually side hill now too...

And I just found a set of Grip Fab ARB lockers and VP knuckles/CHubs that I will install when I make links... I also plan on a servo winch.
This is going to be a crawler... I need to decide on a powerplant.

Playing around with a HD bumper idea a bit. Made from solid 1/4" steel rod, and will use the stock mounting spots.

Just slammed a traxxas 775 summit motor into the beast. 18t pinion on 2s everything is ice cold. And almost twice as quick as stock.

My replacement front axle shafts came today. I have them installed and now my Bomber is ready to go again. I'll keep my Bomber away from the water meter box next time.

I will be installing Dlux lower front links and rear trailing arms this evening. I am tying to decide on power for it. Currently it has the Vanguard 3150kv from a Yeti with the Axial 2 speed and 43/13 gearing, but it doesn't go slow enough to crawl well without cogging and is too fast on the top end. Using 12/64 gearing currently.

Does that 10T motor crawl well? I was considering the 21T Titan motor as other reported it works ok.

Fitted Double Deuce 6.0 comp cut foams, using Interco Irok tires. Firm outer for the rear, medium outer for the front. Also fitted super soft springs on the front, and firm rear (Proline pro-spec shocks)

It works pretty good, lots of torque and speed. And all the low speed control of a brushed motor. Just running it on a velenion esc, I would like a crawler esc with a little better low end control.

I did have to modify my motor plate to make it fit. 4mm screws and they are a little wider than a 540 can motor.

swapped out the 35turn for a 20 turn. don't know how long it will last, but a lot faster. maybe too fast to crawl. but she's a jumper now!
