Default Bomber gets dual shock setup

Since day 1 of ownership I wanted to run a dual setup, and feeling the suspension can be improved quite a bit.

Took measurements and ordered:

Front
Pro-Line POWERSTROKE SLASH REAR SHOCKS
RC4WD 2x The Ultimate Scale Shocks 100mm
Associated Silicone Shock Fluid 25wt/275cSt

Rear
Pro-Line PowerStroke XT Shocks 5" Yeti Rear
RC4WD 2x The Ultimate Scale Shocks 100mm
Associated Silicone Shock Fluid 27.5wt/313cSt

The RC4WD Scale shocks, after reading bad luck others have had, I noticed good amount of flashing on the cartridges. Cleaned it up,added oil and they feel pretty good. Rear mounted ones still have the internal spring, fronts have no internal spring.

First impressions...completely fell in love with the rig all over again.
The amount of control, and how I can keep control on uneven terrain is incredible while keeping full articulation.

Not at the moment.
I will be changing it up some. After burning a ESC last night, Im "forced" to order more parts
Where I live there isnt much crawling opportunities (think urban jungle)
So Im changing it up to tackle open field/park/terrain at speed.

Got new hardware to change up gearing and see how a 20T motor behaves

I will be adding an additional pair of ProLine shocks, the RC4WD Scale shocks seem to leak easy

Vanguard 3150kv and other misc items just arrived from asiatees...

Will post update shortly, also installed another 2 sets of Proline shocks

With all the proline powerstroke shocks your bomber is starting to look like mine, or ours look similar. I only use 6 powerstrokes, a pair of slash rear in front, a pair slash rears, as well as pair of XTs in the back. I'd've done the same as you, but the axles I'm using don't have dual shock/link brackets.

Better pics next week, VP Methods come in on Monday

On 30wt the ride was still too bouncy for my liking, changed over to 15 and couldnt be happier.
