| SSD diamond axle question
Assembling for my bomber and they seem to bind so tight when I get the diff cover on they won't spin. Any ideas? Also, I assume the gear goes in the same side as stock. Why would there be two ways to put it in? |

Sorry didn't see you still had a question. The ring gear runs on both sides so you have options. Always nice, for instance; my bro just bought a SSD D60 scale axle, this only has the ring gear on one side, and so does the stock SCX10 axle. He had to buy two SSD axles to get the vehicle to spin the wheels in the same direction. The stock ar-60 axle does both sides as well. You can always switch the direcion the vehicle travels with moving the ring gear to the other side, but you need to do both. So once again, options hope my ramblings help |
