This little 2-pole holmes motor has plenty of poke, was really surprised at how it performed. Geared 11/64 no heat issues. Also I do love these proline shocks, less bounce, more soaking up the bumps. I just ordered a Tekin Roc412 3100kv but I'm going to cancel the order as the trailmaster pro has really surprised me, it is really smooth down low with a slight throttle curve on the Mamba X. The Mamba X aux switch is also awesome. ![]() ![]() |

Keep us updated, everyone praises the puller pro motors but we don't get many reviews of the trailmasters. It looks like a nice entry point to brushless. Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk |

We'll likely hear more on them as they were reduced in price by Holmes a while back, a great option for those not ready to go the full wallet-emptying route to brushless power!

| ![]() I was expecting the 2-pole to not have much grunt, but it climbed with ease and had some get up and go too, with no heat issues at 11/64, so I'll probably be upping the pinny to 13t

Mr Holmes mentioned a couple of times that a 2-pole is not inherently less torquey or worse for crawling compared to a 4 pole, it's all about designing it properly.

Took the bomber for a run, back to stock gearing with the trailmaster pro 3300kv. Along with having pro-spec shocks all round now ![]() ![]() |

Hi. I'm in the UK too. Are there any hobby shops that you'd recommend as I can only find Vanquish etc from the US, which means expensive shipping and import duty most of the time. Cheers |

There is an RC specialist in Cannock, worth a visit and not too far from Warwickshire.
