RPM flexi flyer arms the culprit then? You would think the break/bend thing would be hard to accomplish, even if you were "sending it".

I haven't changed the RPM A-arms so I would guess no.

To further the B2B "stealth" look, I got some new wheels mounted up. Before anybody flames me because they are Chanquish wheels, I will explain.....I've always loved the Vanquish three piece OMF wheels and purchased a full set a while back and those cost me over $250.00 CDN to my door. The Vanquish 2.2 OMF wheels are very narrow and it was a nightmare getting tires mounted to those rims; so much that I said f**k it and sold them (for a loss of course!) I tried getting the widening kits from the couple companies that made them, but unfortunately no one had them because they are quite limited in production. Fast forward to Ebay Chanquish wheels....they seem to be really nice quality and they are much wider (35mm) than VP OMFs and even include SLW hubs all for $80.00 CDN to my door in less than two weeks from China. If Vanquish made wider 2.2 OMF wheels, I would buy them, but they don't! The only difference is that all the supplied SS hardware is metric, including the SLW hubs. I had to use Vanquish SLW hubs so that I could use the 4-40 Acorn nuts. I used SSD M2 scale hardware for the rings and LURC acorn nuts for the hubs. This is my first time ordering wheels from China and I have to say, I'm very impressed. |

Best me to it! My chanquish are still in the mail and so are my MT/R Still debating the shifts hub to never worry about SLW hubs again. Which lenght of M2 screws did you use? I want to order LURC hardware as well. One more question, what width is the chinese slw hub? Last edited by Jboucher; 04-08-2018 at 09:30 AM. |

After seeing such a beautiful China made wheels and off cause the uniqueness of the B2B RR10 bomber. Well, I am so jealous now. |

LOL....I don't bash with my B2B so I'm in the mindset that if the plastic diff housings aren't broke, then there's no need to replace them at this time. Besides, I'm thinking about portal Curries for another project!

II’m waiting On my dmg kit to arrive and am just curious if anybody hAd any info on the DLuX yeti shafts with the VP knuckles And carrier. I’ve seen in some threads people have said they’ve had issues regarding the lengths. so I’m just wondering if there’s any modifications needed to make it work. I suck at typing on phones and my auto correct doesn’t work here for some reason so that’s the reason for the jibberish I’m not foreign I live in BC. Lol. |

And while I got your attention with my jibberish I have a few more questions about the build before I order or decide on shocks. I’m running bomber with dmg B1b. Aluminum a arms. Gonna try the Traxxas turnbuckles to start. Flux axle shafts Vanquish Currie centered rear axle. MIP axles. Still running bomber tranny for now. I have vanquish everything for the front, skid plate turnbuckles caster blocks and even these cool flanged boll ends which look nicer than the standard pivot ball. I’m curious about clearance issues in the knuckles if there’s anything I need to modify before thinking I’m done. Also. Shocks. I see all sorts of variations. I’m stuck on proline. I will use this rig for some crawling or otherwise just blinding around nothing competitive just like building it the most I think. I have a mamba monster x and a HH puller pro but haven’t decided on 2700 or 3500 yet as I’m not so throttle thirsty like some. I have yeti powerstroke on now which I think will be too big. My rear trailing arms are custom engraved JEC t/as with the frenched ends. For the rear. I will use powerstroke rear or prospec just not sure exactly the difference between them performance wise. For the front. I am hesitant to to try prospec due to size. But their new prospec scalers are a bit thinner I’m just not sure if they would support the weight in the front or if only more for scale. Not many reviews on those yet. Otherwise my last question is if I were to use flash rear on back and slash front in front can I use the 5mm extended rod end otherwise which proline shock would you recommend for the front of the dmg B1b with the ingredients I’ve listed. My goal is 95mm but f someone could tell me a max hat still doesn’t cause damage at suspension cycle. |

Did you use the little rubber bushings with little support that comes with the servo? I know some people use them. Some people don’t. From my understanding it protects your servo somehow.

You can actually still contact him through his website. I don’t think he’s currently making parts but i am pretty sure he is selling things he has on hand. I just ordered a ifs spool locker for my b1b. Unfortunately it came with no drilled holes but still!, it’s not impossible to get blue monkey shit still

bill, since no one is biting on my B1B kit...I have decided I may as well build it... trying to figure out how it goes together, and the manual is less than clear... I did manage to get the parts list you posted, located all except the locker for the front diff... any suggestions?

I don't run a locker in the front, I used the standard Yeti front diff and packed the gears with putty to act like a semi-locked diff. It definitely saves from axles from bending and breaking. If you do want to use a locker, Axial has a Yeti front locker or Locked UP RC has a Yeti specific FI Spool called the Lunchbox.
