| RR10 IFS Tranny question
Does the B1B IFS kit have room to keep the Stock RR10 Transmission? I don't want the wraith trans just my personal preference.

so far - yes ! you "must use a Wraith or a SCX long rear out put shaft style trans" with the BIB kit. the main plate interfears with the bomber stock trans front out put shaft, & you would have to come up with a way to mount the shifter servo some where - steering servo now sits inside the chassis i am looking into some way to make the kit work with the stock trans, but that will be a wile ! | |

but the down fall to that is, like in the Blue Monkey wrath IFS conversion, when the alum plate in under the skid i notched that the plate hung up a lot on sharp rocks, and wanted to try to find a way to avoid having a full alum skid on the bottom of the bomber chassis ! & i have had some thought about doing another IFS plate for people who just live with out the bomber boat anchor transmission in there rig ! I like that the plate is on top of the skid so it doesn't get hung up. The steering servo looks like it has lots of room so could you make a plate to have 2 servos side by side or one on top of another. The shifting servo could possible be micro sized. With out seeing one of these first hand its hard to tell how much the plate is protruding but seems like it could be trimmed and a grove ground out for drive shaft clearance. I really want a low gear for more of a controlled crawl and not real happy with the gear ratio in wraith trans for high speed.
