The gold will only last so long because this thing is going to get plenty of use. Took it out for its first run yesterday. I had a ton of fun with it. The weight balance on it is pretty sweet and it crawled everything in front of it. I'll be taking it to a different local spot with different terrain to see how it does. The kit tires got better as the day went on but I think foams will be necessary.

Got out for some crawlin today @ my local spot. Much different terrain than the last run but it performed beautifully. Really impressed with the bomber. Threw the rear sway bar on to give it a try and it didn't disappoint.

Waiting on some light bars for the rig so I decided to start mock up with what I have for now.

Not sure if I want to keep the exo rear bezel with the radiator or go to the gear head style KOH. It's a snug fit for the radiator right now but I haven't trimmed the mounting tabs to fit until I make a permanent decision. Also planning out some rock lights.

Cut off the roof fake lightbar and mount above the cage. here is mine

Stoked to see you actually are using your truck, I don't understand why people do so much work and put it on the shelf.

Always been a fan of all show and all go, not either or.lol. To each his own. It definitely hurt scratching it up the first couple times but it just made me focus on driving better. Do you have any pics of how you mounted the lower part of the radiator? I don't have a good angle on it in that pic.

let me dig some up tonight. I basically cut a piece of styrene and laid it sideways, screwed into the cage and screwed the radiator into it

Thanks. I was trying to use some extra pieces out of my parts bags but nothing fits quite perfect. I need to buy some styrene, I see it referenced a lot and have never messed with it

Got the heyok KOH lights installed. Decided to paint the lenses to get the daytime effect.

After a night session to test the lights, I figured why not throw a fuel line on and start tinkering with it. Definitely need more forward lighting but can't find another 2" mad dog light bar to mount up under the cage.

Installed some beef tubes in the front axle tonight. There's really not enough to take pics of for the install because it was so easy and straight forward!!

Honestly, it was almost too easy. Anyone even contemplating this mod up front should just do it. Not sure if it's different on the rtr version but it was no cutting, no grinding, no bs on the kit version. Great quality and fitment in the product from beef tubes. Probably could've done this mod with the axle on the rig

Would you recommend them for an aluminum axle?
