Hello to all . I been in r c since dad would take me to mile square and id watch him fly, now that I am older been building a bomber for a local cancer event ,
MY question, what would be a decent paring of shocks all way around i like the looks and simplicity of internal spring, and i am also running all wheel steer as well using S6230 x2

For Crawl for a Cure...nice!

Stick with external sprung shocks...Stock shocks work pretty well but there are also Pro Line Powerstroke and Traxxas Big Bores that are popular also. I run the gold Axial yeti shocks on mine.

You can run slightly shorter 90mm shocks up front to bring the ride height down a bit for crawling/center of gravity.

I see people list the 90mm/100mm Traxxas shocks as an option quite a bit what's the comparison in size to the RTR/kit shocks as far as length?

Stock are 100/100. Lowering the front a bit makes it sit flat, not nose up.

Thanks Maslin! So there's nothing to stop someone from just switching the front shocks to the 90mm Traxxas ones and leaving the back stock and getting the same effect other than quality of shocks?

I could be wrong, but I thought I'd seen longer lower shock mounts in the extra parts bags...the one with blue parts in it, you just might be able to get the nose down enough with those. I used the rear SCT powerstroke in all four corners of my bomber, they were a left over part from when I changed my wraith from solid axles to independent suspension. I also put a pair of powerstroke XT shocks on the rear, which helps the rear end from sagging too much, almost keeps the body level...almost.
