I'm fitting a Proline Comanche body to my Bomber as I'm looking at this thread. I first tried cutting up my junk proline Cherokee body that I've thrashed like crazy and it looked like it'd work. But I wanted something with bedsides so I chopped up a Comanche.

With more trimming in the grille I'll be able to get the hood down further and the A pillar should fit pretty descent

This was very roughed in the first evening I tried, I haven't taken any updated photos or worked on it in several months. I need to.

I recently acquired a Bomber. Love it’s capability, didn’t love the stock aesthetic. Easy fix is a Honcho body! I think it looks awesome now!

Yup, ugly is the nature of the rig. Bodies get torn up on the rocks, so why make it cool looking, right? Wrong!

Sadly, most of those flares and fenders are going to go away to clear the tires.
Anyone thought about splitting something down the middle instead to narrow something up?

Nice 3D prints there. How much Evercoat to get them smooth?

I didn't use evercoat. I didn't even know what it was until recently, lol.
I just did a little sanding a couple of coats of afrika mustard yellow. And a couple of coats of silver. These are proto types so I wasn't to concerned about finish. The bumper and grill I printed at home with my formlabs form 2. All I needed to do was trim, touch up sanding and paint.

I was looking for a replacement body for my bomber for months and trying to figure out how to mount it and finally finished it. This is a yeti raptor body mounted on my bomber with proline body mount caps.
