played last night with various spring rates and oil

the back of my truggy is so heavy that it just reclines way to much using for example yellow/green springs...ended up using green/yellow and 30wt oil

in the front switched the proline scalers for the slash rear powerstockes and ended up using blue/blue and 22.5wt oil so it could go down just a bit and sit leveled with the back

still gotta go outside and test it out and see how it works out but that blue/blue in the front doesnt convince me yet..well see

Does anybody know if there are other brand shock orings that will work? I don't really want to buy the proline set because 1/2 of the set will end up being of no use to me. I'm also wondering the same about pistons. And trying to avoid paying $15/2

Bueller? Bueller? Think I read that gmade springs will fit but the spring rate remains a mystery on them. I wonder if wraith springs would fit.

Go to McMaster and buy the o-rings separately. They are just regular o-rings, nothing special.

As for springs, what's wrong with the proline set? Seem to work well for everything I've used them for.

Nothing is wrong with them. They have just been on backorder since January except from a few odd places on eBay that I've never ordered from. That being said, my ongoing wtb post finally paid off and I got a set from here this morning.
And my first post was just me not paying attention. I have bought numerous orings from McMaster. I meant springs.

Hey folks, I just picked up a set of Power Stroke Slash rears for my Bomber and I'm trying to find rod ends for the uppers/lowers that will fit properly, including Vanquish trailing arms. Can anyone confirm if the mounting kit listed above will suffice? The lower rod ends that come with the shocks were too wide for the Vanquish trailing arms, but a bit narrow for the front mount on the axle. I could shim it, but would prefer a proper fitment to make R&R easier.

I saw someone mention Traxxas rod ends, but which ones? I'm trying to get the rig prepped for the next event and none of the rod ends in my stash o' parts will fit properly. They're either too narrow or too wide for the Bomber.

Thanks!

if you just put vanquish stainless balls into the stock powerstroke rod ends they fit perfectly
