Been a minute since I updated this. Still mostly the same, but I have made a few changes. Front diff kept eating pinion bearings, so I've switched those to bushings for the time being. Finally figured out a way to get my custom skid to print strong enough to hold up to the abuse I throw at this thing. Motor was switched out for a sensored 550 size 3500kV motor (from a 540/2700kV) which allowed me to gear down a bit but still bump the speed just slightly overall. Designed/printed a front bumper with headlights, and some brackets so I could mount a light bar on the roof. Added some LEDs to the rear lights finally, and wired everything through a switch so I could turn them off to save battery when not needed...

So a 15 ft jump and a horrible landing (bomber at a short course track, lol) killed my previous 3d printed skid, so I redesigned it to use aluminum braces at the link mounts for added strength. We'll see how this holds up.

Special thanks to Codyboy for letting me come up to visit and use his shop to make the inserts...

Been a while since it's seen any love, so I drew up some panels in fusion 360. I'm thinking about putting a perforated section at the front of the side panel also to cover those plastic grille/radiator bits...
