Lol its not that hard but can be a pain without the right tools. The solder will really only flow where the flux is and with using gravity to keep most of it going down away from hex nut it doesnít get in threads.

Thank u

The cage, panels and fuel cell (basically how its pictured is 2.2lbs. On the heavy side but to me heavier rigs look more realistic when it comes to articulation etc. that being said hopefully Iím not just digging holes goin up hill. I will weigh rig when its all together.

I feel the same way about heavy rigs - they may not win comps, but for scale driving and bashing it makes the rig react more realistically.

I seriously dig the way that cage came out, with those panels.

...dope, DOPE, DOPE!

Default Hoyt's Bomber

Alright got this thing up and running. Im pretty happy with how it turned out. I have not driven it on anything super steep and still working on my bouncer hill behind the house but it does feel planted to the ground.

When i get the chance i will post up some specs and the always present list of needed/wanted parts.

Some pics for now. Its been a fun truck to drive thus far.

Thats awesome. Loving the grooved tires as well. And most importantly, driven like you stole it. What do you think you hit for a top speed?

Thanks

Boy I have no idea on top speed but it's got some pep. Running HH ble with puller pro (540) 3500kv on 3s. 64t spur gear with a (I'm guessing here cause I forget) 17t pinion. No issues thus far and hey if u build a bouncer u gotta drive it like one lol.

I think u asked me about weight last time. The truck pictured (minus the battery) is 7.7lbs.

Just some short Slow Mo vids of the bouncer bouncing. Its been running pretty good with no big hiccups. It does feel really planted and I'm actually happy with the cut Baja's for now. I do want to add a little weight up front and low (see below).

I currently only have a aluminum beef tube up front so I just ordered a brass set for the front and going to switch the aluminum to the rear. Aside from that will most likely just be fixing things as they break. Just running stock bomber trans with nut on slipper cranked all the way down.

Electronics
Holmes Hobbies BLE Pro
HH Puller Pro BL 3500Kv
Savox 1283SG Servo
CC BEC

Ucfab Sway Bar: Love this thing
Stock King shocks for now (one is sticking on me and not sure why yet)
Vanquish knuckles
Vanquish Servo Axle mount
Upgraded Titanium Steering tie rod and drag link

Tires are the stock Baja's but cut up
Rear are CI Deuce's Wild Single
Front are CI Double Deuce with soft outer

What you got here is the start of a small bouncer section on the hill behind my house. Will be adding more as I get the time.

Thanks and yes
I am a big fan of tsl's. Ran them all the time in my 1.9 trucks. When I decide on a wheel I will most likely grab some tires to.

Just picked up a brass beef tube and proline power strokes for the front. One of the front shocks is just done. Aluminum beef tube that's currently up front will go to rear. Just need to find time to install.
