Post your Bomber chasis and bodies here!

I'm looking for some options and opinions for my upcoming B1B build. I wanna try a Jeep body on it to model it after the new Magpul TT, but pre "truck" body.

I'm thinking the Axial Jeep body for the Wraith might work. But two things.

1. This would be a good thread to share other options for body and chassis that's not the stock form. I know there's at least a cool 'Yota on here. 8)

2. I'm hoping someone HAS tried the Jeep and can tell me if it works or not before I waste my time with it.

Been covered a few times, hell I even started a thread a while back haha. It would be sick. And the B1B is awesome! I built one recently

I remember someone posting the Magpul video, that's what sparked my interest...

Other than that and the 'Yota, I've not seen another. But now I'm off to search!!!

ProLine Yeti Jeep & Yeti Raptor bodies have been used successfully...

It's not the jeep your after. I was wanting the full body pinched nose and tail look. Haven't finished the details yet but this is where it sits.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...577d25f9eb.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...54aa58d180.jpg

That would be me. Build your rig and make an aluminum body. The only drawback to the chassis is that the nose of it rises up at the shock mount location, making any type of body a bit of a challenge to look right. Not gonna get that front grille on there like the 1:1.

Yeah, I'll most likely have to do some geometry work to the front end. That's ok. I'll probably have to do it on the rear end as well. Also ok.

But on a good note, I ordered the Axial Jeep Race body this morning. "thumbsup"

I'm actually working on a Jeep body for the B1B as we speak. Almost done actually, just a few minor finishing touches. Liking the results so far "thumbsup"

After I finish this, I'll be working on an F100 body on my sons Solid Axle Bomber. Hoping that goes on as well as the Jeep. :)

It's coming along. I may fab up some front end stuff to better support the body. But I'm waiting on the B1B kit which will be here... Wednesday!!!
