Pure crawler or buggy, correct. I'll dovetail whatever bed I use

I put on the ford raptor for a yeti and there are no issues with it rubbing. I have .475 hub adaptors.

is your body hinged at all to allow easy battery access?

No sir, two front body clips and the rear tire holds the back down with no issues. Quick enough access to battery and has taken some good tumbles now without issues.

Well, project MJBomber has commenced. Rough cut of the body and test fit late last night before I went to bed. I think its gonna turn out ok.

I haven't cut down the bed sides at all, but as you can see I think they're gonna work out well. Did cut the flares off the rear, the fronts will also be getting removed.

Its actually a state park called "Coopers Rock". I'm blessed to live where I live and be absolutely surrounded by good scale and 1:1 wheeling spots.

Well, I spent a few hours and stripped the old body and did a botch job on it, but it'll do for a beater. Gonna make a new roof panel that covers the old up.

This is sick!

I am wanting to do this with an XJ body. Try to match my 1:1 build.

Not much to say, this was the latest installment, decided until I could rework the links and shocks, 1.9s were too small. Threw on some 2.2s and called it a day. It runs good. Climbs like a goat. Makes tiny trucking too easy. I need to shorten the wheelbase and find some suitable 90-100m shocks to bring this thing closer to suitable for 1.9s. Bananaclip and I were discussing narrowing the axles, maybe doing a custom offset differential but I don't know if that'll happen as I don't want to CMS this really. Time will tell.

what are you going to do in order to shorten the wheelbase?

most likely going to run slightly shorter links front and back. May convert over to a wraith skid. I'll likely have to relocated the electronics box and cut that protrusion off the bomber skid if I keep it unless the links have some severe curvature to them. I'm not sure to be honest, in the idea stage at the moment.
