| Moto's bomber
I recently picked up a bomber on a really good deal here on RCC. I plan to do many modifications to it in the near future. I will be updating the build here as time progresses. There will be a very interesting part going into this rig I will be testing for the maker. I should have the part in my hands in about 2 weeks. I think it could be a game changer and a huge hit. I can't wait to show it off in a few weeks. To go with this prototype part, this rig will be getting a whole suite of goods from DLUX. Needless to say I am very excited about this build. It's primary purpose will be u4/bashing and be a capable crawler. | Re: Moto's bomber Thanks. I didn't paint it, but I like it as well. Part of why I bought it. Unfortunately it got dented on the hood in shipping. I'm going to try to scuff it up and repaint the bad spot. Otherwise this rig is all about performance. My wraith is going to be a beast too. I'll be updating that thread as parts start to arrive. My toyzuki build has been sidelined for now. Sold the rock jocks for cash to upgrade both the bomber and the wraith. My crawler course has taken all of my time lately though. I think my wife is tired of it. About 15 yards of dirt and 12 truckloads of stone so far. Still a long ways on that project Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk |

A body. Someone made a mold for a different looking body that isn't all flat panels. A Penhall U4 look??? Closer??? That's simpler.

| Re: Moto's bomber I think you will love it bill. It's made by high altitude performance rc on the book face. This is one of three made. I can't wait to test it out. Look him up. He has some great ideas for our hobby. Lots of custom axle housings. He is all about having correct geometry. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk |

1 motor forward center 2 output drop due to trans being recessed 3 a dlux motor plate to get the motor low 4 upper link plates with more tuning ability 5 lower link mounting angled to match the link angle. 5 most likely flat skid profile underneath Looks pretty good to me. | |

Interesting, am I looking at it from the front or back? The motor looks like it replaces the front Rx box... I could see myself buying this...If it wasn’t 3D printed, maybe in another material, aluminum for instance, or plastic. |

So here is a small update on the build so far. Very little testing has been done. Major lack of time with the holidays. So far I have installed the DLUX knuckles, FBA shafts, and Locked Up FI spools. I took a set of vanquish clamping scale c hubs and drilled them out to make clearance for the new FBA shafts. I also took the stock aluminum steering link and added some bend to it to shorten it up for the DLUX knuckles. The DLUX knuckles I ordered for this rig are aluminum with brass slugs. I got the carbon fiber upper arm and the brass lower arm. I have a long ways to go with this rig. I'm still waiting on parts. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk |
