These are plastic sample bottles from my work (laboratory) :)

I can fit 2 per bottle and they are just tall enough so i can still grab the Shock cap.
Keeps them organized until I can paint and assemble the cage / interior.

I crammed in a MMP onto the skid. I ran it with the 17.5T and a Holmes PP3500 in this configuration for a while. I recently swapped out for the MMX but don't have a topless shot. It's now mounted on the Rx box.

Re: --Lets Go Topless --

You can't see it under all of the crap, but I made a Kydex (you can use ABS too) plate that I mounted to the receiver box cover. This gave me a flat area to mount the ESC and BEC without interfering with the battery area. I've since replaced this ESC and BEC with a Mamba X esc. Next time I have it apart I want to try moving the esc to the skid plate to get it lower.

You still needed the BEC with the MambaX? I took mine out when I upgraded from the Sidewinder I started with.

No, but I like running them. Personal preference.

here's mine. yes the mounting of the ESC makes taking the cage off slightly more of a pain, just lift up the opposite side first. planning on replacing the stock rx box with a traxxas one.

What servo are you using? Every time I run a Savox servo I need the external BEC.

Savox SW-1210SG. The Mamba X has a built in BEC with an 8 amp capacity. I have not had any brown out situations. Even running the 2 speed tranny, KOH light contoller, and RC4WD Zeon winch.

You can also run the Holmes Hobbies shv500v2, it connects directly on 2s to 4s batteries

Re: --Lets Go Topless --

Here's the way I build my Bomber.

ESC: Castle Mamba Monster X - Velcroed to the top of the receiver box lid
Motor: Tekin ROC412 3100kv (now running a Holmes Hobbies Puller Pro 3500kv)
Servo: RC Gear Shop Hi-Volt UltraTorque Digital Servo Coreless
Transmitter/Reciver: Turnigy TS4G (Rebranded RadioLink)

I also have the Castle Harness installed so that I can easily program the ESC without having to remove it from my Bomber.

Stupid T-connector will be replaced with a XT60 connector.

The trackstar esc I have has a weak bec so I shortened the wires on a castle blue bec and stuffed it in the box with the rx also
