Default Rear axle housing

Who makes a moderately priced rear axle housing? Preferably metal since I broke the long side tube at the link bracket on the stock one. I'll just transfer everything from the stock axle but I'll use the vanquish stage 1 outers I have after upgrading the front and after that broke a shaft and a knuckle.

There are after market housings available from alot of different places
Some things to think about
To much weight on the rear end hurts your performance by throwing the ballence off so if you are only doing 1 axle do the front or both
Metal doesn't slide over rocks like plastic
potmetal slides better than aluminum
Cheap aluminum housings are not a good idea in my opinion if you really want aluminum go with a quality unit like vanquish or something with 7075 aluminum

I'm partial to the Vanquish or SSD housings.

Without any battery in it, the balance point is currently right in the middle of the skid plate. So it's already a bit front heavy when running. Not sure I use it enough anymore to justify a new front axle too. It's not a money issue just a spending it issue. Lol

For the vanquish,SSD and integy housings, do they all take stock internals?

The ar60s axles are pretty universal take the chubs and axles shafts off the front axle and use the front housing in the rear then put the new axle up front

You can get potmetal axles on ebay for about $21
The vanquish and SSD would say somewhere that there compatible with ar60s parts

Integy is just way over priced for what they are usually find the exact same part for 1/5 the price elseware
