| Super simple radiator mount
I came across this mod while trying to mount an Exo radiator on my Bomber. It's so simple and effective I figured I'd share. All i did was use two of the light bar mounting tabs from Axial part # AXI80085 (see pic) on the rear center bar of the Bomber cage. This allows you to slide the tabs into position so they fit the lower radiator mounts perfectly. If you aren't using the Exo light bar like I am don't worry the bottom mounts will hold the radiator securely. While it looks like my radiator is mounted on the light bar as well it's really not. I just used to a couple 2mm spacers and 5mm button head screws in the upper radiator mounts. Once installed they sit inside of the back of the light bar so it look like it's mounted. got my exo kit. guess I'm going to order a DMG radiator mount though. It's REALLY annoying that the light cover kit only comes with 2 clear lenses, and 2 yellow lenses, so dumb. Totally not spending another $11 for 2 tiny little light covers, I thought it came with all 4 in clear. Last edited by angrchair; 03-23-2018 at 02:10 AM. |

Why not have to red and two yellow lenses? Just take a red sharpie and color the inside of your two clear lenses and your good. Or one red one blue. Quote:

No worries Jato! The more ideas the better. @Dukeminnix, I'll post the parts i used to make mine this afternoon. I'll have to make pics because the parts i used are odd left over from axial trees and i don't know the part numbers for these little things. It will make sense when i post pics.

Just to derail the thread a tiny bit again, what size fuel line is everyone using here?
