I'm running the same hobbywing esc 10BL120. I never tried waterproofing, always got WP series esc's but was in a hurry because the competition is drawing near.

Got the esc used but almost prestine condition with a sensored hw 10.5t motor. but i opened to use my 2650kv unsesored 4 pole motor, our coming comp is more of a time attack/U4 variant.

tried running the rig on a U4 style course with CI single stage closed foams and it just kept flipping over. hahahaha

made changes to the foams, 2 stage hack job while i wait for the CI 2 stages foams to arrive. also finally replaced the king shocks to some slash powerstrokes dampers.

will test this rig tomorrow in a G6 style trail... hope it works with these temp foams.

Nice build. Not sure if shortening the link on your sway bar would help any or not?

@NitroBugg, Thanks!

i got the anti-swaybar from my 1st bomber (got it used) in this configuration, i think it is stock, I will need to double check. but i have not played around with it, my drifters when i started all had the same orientation, if i am not mistaken, and that was more than 10 years ago hehe

my initial run yesterday was good, still a little bouncy but the DIY foams are brand new and a bit stiff. ordering the crawler innovation 2 stage foam, but it will wait... holiday rush here is really bad, so I will be ordering them 1st thing next year.

running on flat ground is not a problem with an unsensored motor/esc. the rig is so stable even in tight turns... i am loving it. would like to get it crawling one of this days but would like to replace the motor/esc to a sensored one before i do.

i am mostly bashing now, 2.2mah lipo battery gets eaten up pretty quick... need to get a high mah for it.

That's an excellent quality photograph of a very sexy Bomber, well done!

Looks mean and ready to dominate it's next U4 race...

geez... i missed to C3 events due to the servo running out of juice. at first i thought it was my 3S batter, i was using a 2.2mah, but it turns out that i needed to install a BEC.

got me a Castle 10amp BEC and did a bypass connection that powers the servo directly... perfect! now i am ready to go all out on the next event.

I did not get to fix it... the vanquish motor mount did not have issues. it turns out the esc died. just salvaged the motor and run paired with a Hobbywing 120Amp ESC but decided to use the sensored 10.5T motor to have more control crawling.

Love this rig... Class 3 is not so popular here, but i will push to get it mainstream this coming months.

its a GPM beadlock... i like this too, it seems more aggresive looking to me that anything from vanquish or ssd and other brands. the thing is you need to use the stock plastic half of the wheel which has a tendency to strip. what i did was use vanquish slw wheel hubs, have not had issues yet.

Thanks Guys!
___________

I'm trying some new shoes, voodoo with 2 stage foams and SSD wheels (not a fan of this wheels... they are so plain looking).

We are having another C3 comp on the 14th, this new setup should perform well... but still thinking if i need to put some weight on the front tire. still looking into that.

thanks for looking!

changed a few things on the bomber, not sure if you noticed the previous changes... replaced the plastic rear shock tower with Boomracing Shock Tower With Strut Bar, also replaced the lower axle link connectors. Last week I got an Aluminum Front Offset Axle Link Mount from Boomracing.
