Re: I don't fawk around. So I'm a couple weeks behind on the update, due me. We're nipple deep in harvest and my go fast toys are broken. Went down to Wendover UT/NV for the Best Of The West comp and took the bomber to play around with during down time. I never even got away from the hotel. The first night I broke the skid plate in a really hard and off angle hit. V2 HD is on the way, anyone that goes with this setup in the future can thank me for the bomb proofness. http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/f...psmigz4ll1.jpg http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/f...psouqlxbz5.jpg |

Re: I don't fawk around. Schlitz?? Holly molly haven’t heard that mentioned in decades.... Nasty carnage on the skid...wonder if delrin would have broken/snapped like that.....all this horsepower is making me giddy  |
Re: I don't fawk around. Without reinforcement I think delrin would have snapped too. Let's just say the bomber was above our heads before it came down on that corner so I don't have faith in much helping without help. |
Re: I don't fawk around. Only time I ever broke a skid was a big tumble down a 50-60ft rock face at Lake Powell. Same thing happened, car landed on one corner and split the skid like yours. I think a little thicker bottom and some extra bolts will keep it together. |

The rear portion is getting beefed up and it will have risers that catch the lower rear screw on the carbon fiber plates. |

Can you run this skid with a scx10 transmission or is it specific to your lcg transmission? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |
Re: I don't fawk around. Quote:
Specific to the lcg trans. There is a version for the wraith trans too. |

How do you like the lcg transmission? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

So far do good. The bottom is smooth & flat so it slides well and it jumps better with the motor forward too. I'm looking forward to the new skid coming in so I can put a bunch of time into driving it. |
Re: I don't fawk around. Got it back together yet? |

Might swap links and put the old skid & 2 speed it to go play this weekend if I find the motivation. |
Re: I don't fawk around. I think I want this skid...and the extra speed frame rails. I need a fun brasher now, thanks trash. |
Re: I don't fawk around. What do you need frame rails for? The chassis is fully bashable as is. The skid is pretty slick too, for a basher I'd just grab the other version that uses a wraith trans. No need to go full boogie for that kinda rig. |

Re: I don't fawk around. I don't know why anyone would use 1.9's anyway. |
