I got some runtime outside today and am getting it dialed in, I think it needs a bit thicker oil in the rear shocks as it compresses really quick, almost like there is no oil in the shocks at all..I have no idea what is in there now but I will refill them with 40wt and give it another go

Hah, just like me, slowly getting it dialed in. I haven't touched my shocks other than springs/preload and 25wt oil because I'm trying to get the crawling/steering gremlins figured out first. Mine steers like yours-it doesn't, for all intent and purposes in critical stuff unless its unlocked. At least compared to how I think it should steer. I also feel you on the love hate, right when I think I'm done with it and will build another go fast rig by pilfering its parts, it does something to strum my heart strings to give it another go. My go fast buggies please in performance from the word go, every time out. Just like kids I guess, you have the good, well behaved ones then there is the red headed stepchild..... well, my stepchild is silver, yours is orange.

Well, I am still tweaking this thing, I lowered the ride height back down and it made a small improvement in handling but not very much, increased belly dragging a whole lot lol! Still, with the 2.2 rock beast II's its not too bad..if it don't sell, I will keep it next to my DMG wraith rig 626/Blue Thunder because everyone needs a buddy!

I took the B1B out in the snow today, did ok, needs a more powerful motor than the 13.5 Gen 1 redline tekin I am running. I also went to the shorter wraith trailing arms and that put the WB at 14.125... it handles and steers a bit better and I honestly think now that I am expecting much more out of this than it is able to give in regards to the turning radius. I need to put on some shorter shocks in the rear since changing the trailing arms...it sits higher in the back now and looks like a high school kids car from the 70's now lol...low in the front with its a&# in the air! Pics after supper tonight!

If you have the JEC Racing Wraith trailing arms then you can mount the stock shock further back on the arms to lower it or maybe a softer spring to lower the ride height a bit?

these are the blue monkey trailing arms they have 2 spots for mounting the shocks, the shocks are just too tall, they were borderline with the bomber trailing arms and shocks all the way to the rear on the arms... I got some shorter ones laying around I think.

I replaced the tekin gen1 13.5 redline with a tekin Roc412 3100kv and boy did that make a difference!

I put new painted panels on and royally screwed up the paint, so the B1B stickers Jerry sent me will go on another set I have ordered and will paint again. this is how she looks now..not bad but the paint job sucks lol
