Xtreme racing makes one, but it's more like a monster truck kind of shape

I'm heavily considering going this route too... BPC also makes a stainless steel one, but their website lacks pics/details (other than the $85 price.) The only pics I've found were in RJohn929's build thread: Rjohns BPC Bomber

I have the Xtreme Racing one, planning on a build with a very unique Lexan body mounted using Pro-Line Racing's "608700 Extended Front and Rear Body Mounts for Slash 4x4" mounted to the sides of the chassis and holding the body on along the rocker panel area with Pro-Line's nifty screw on body mounting system (Secure-Lock Caps)...

Been planning this for ages, finally got the body a couple weeks ago.

Gonna be dope!

(BTW - this chassis only looks like a monster truck if you use huge tires and certain bodies - HINT: think Slash-compatible bodies for more scale-accurate wheel coverage)

Check this thread for Lanky's build:

Xtreme racing frame rail Kit??

He used somewhat narrower bodies, though...

A few questions for ya. What all did it include, 2 rails and a couple of crossmembers? Was the battery tray included? Did it make any appreciable change to the center of gravity, weight, or overall performance?

I have this idea in my head to convert one of my Wraiths to the BPC Bomber chassis and swap back & forth between a short course body and a small 2.2s type body depending on the day's planned terrain. I've just grown tired of it looking like everybody else's Wraith.

it came with a 2 piece rail per side, battery tray (no straps), chassis braces, required screws.

It went together easy, but it seem about 10mm wider than the Bomber skid with the included braces/link bars... (might just be how I set it up but I couldn't work it out)

I came from a steel cage so its WAY lighter. However it has a high battery tray and with a big heavy 5000mah 3s battery it is a little top heavy (ill move it lower soon). I still need to install the sway bar which should help a lot.

All in all I love it, but it definitely was not happy with the $160aud I had to pay to get it including delivery to AUS.

I won a set of Kodiak Customs frame rails, and used them. Thry were designed for an scx10. Pretty much any frame rails can work....just might need to get creative.

Some updates.

I used the supplied battery tray to hold my esc, and added a old battery tray I had lying around to the front. I need to move the battery lower.

One problem with having the big motor and esc is its heavy! And really moves the CG up. Hopefully finding a way to lower the battery will help. I don't really want to crank the weighs on the axles as I don't do much crawling...

Time to put on the thinking cap...

You need a BPC Transverse Battery Tray... across the frame rails just in front of the motor, or just look at the pics and make one yourself, easy enough - here's mine on a Ascender chassis - same concept:
