With low startup and low acceleration on the 1080 I can crawl at snail pace without cogging and it's pretty fast at full throttle.

Thank you for the reply and the video. It looks like very slow crawling is possible with the right setup for the esc.

Of course i have a new question.....haha. (i think it is time to open a new build thread) I love to add quite a bit of weight to my rc’s, i just like the way they behave and move. I saw an Xtra speed alloy axle housing for the Bomber on RCmart. I have Xtra speed alloy axle housings on my other vehicles and i like them a lot. On RCmart it says ‘front or rear axles’ but i don’t know if i can order two of them because i thought the rear of the Bomber is Yeti an the front Wraith. Could it be that the Yeti and Wraith have the same axles? So, can i safely order two of them and be sure that both will fit on the front and rear?

for Axial Wraith YETI AR60 RR10 Black #XS-AW230051BK, ,(XS-AW230051BK) by Xtra Speed Steel Alloy Front or Rear Axle Housing

If i want to mount a second set of shocks in the rear, what lenght should they have? I assume they have to be longer than the standard (kit) shocks?

yes, you can order two of those and they will fit front and rear on a bomber or wraith (or just one for a yeti). When people say bombers have a wraith front and yeti rear they are taking about the suspension links and geometry.

Thank you!

Well, i am getting there....
I am on ‘bomber speed course’ hahaha.

In the mean time i found the same axles and more alu parts on Aliexpress for really low prices. I know that alot of parts are coming from the same factory and are branded dozens of different names like boomracing, yeah racing, xtraspeed and so on. I use lots of these parts on different vehicles and i never had any problems with them, except for one gearboxhousing that refused to take bearings. I really don’t see the need for those ‘top shelf brands’ like vanquish, samix and rc4wd parts. Those prices are so high and i really don’t believe that the quality is that much better that they really are worth those ridicoulous prices. Even if i would brake some of those cheap parts i can easily buy them three or four times more without coming close to the price of one ‘top shelf’ brand part. Why am i saying all this......hmm i must be ‘parts high’.....i love Aliexpress.

Does anyone know what size shocks i need for extra shocks in the rear?

Stock lenght is 104mm
You can put a pair of 120 or 110 behind it.

Can also run 90 or 95mm for the front end to lower it.

Thank you again

I just want to mount 2 or 4 shocks for the looks. I know i can make it work with eight functional shocks. One for springs and one for damping for every side. But i don’t know yet if i am going that route. For now they will be for show only.

The Xtra speed axles are on their way

I have ordered alot of stuff so i think the build will start in 2-3 weeks. I hope everything will be here by then.

Of course i will be asking questions here.... It is nice to experience this very alive forum
