Dual motor bomber engine mount??
 

Who makes a dual engine mount for the bomber? Or do I have to fab one myself? Did some searching unless the search feature is playing tricks on me?

If you want to go dual engine it's probably best to go with an ax10 transmission as the stock motor is already so high up.

Do you think 2 540's is more power then a brushless HH puller pro xl? Or is that not an option? There are also bigger dewalt motors.
But no I don't know of a dual motor mount for that transmission.

You don't need to swap the tranny every time. Just the motors, leave the ax10 in there.

Tough truck challenge that involves mud and lots of water. Brushless isnt worth damaging. Last years winner was running i believe dual cheapo 21t titan 550s.

I guess I'll be making one.

Ive been making my own mounts ive been using the juggernaught motor plate as a templet with 2 tamiya silver can 27t motors i can snap drive shafts at will on a 20lb rig and im running both motors from a super cheap $15 waterproof esc


Make your own plate and mount the motors forward

You can buy a cheap 4 pole sensorless brushless motor for less than a pair of Titan brushed motors. I still can't see any benefit to dual brushed motors.

They make brushless systems waterproof these days.

Those dual motor plates are old and they were bad even back then. They add weight and little else.

Yeah look for racerstar motors on banggood, they are throwable brushless basically.

Racerstar, GoolRC, and a few other brands are all the same motor. They're powerful and cheap.

If you want more weight, add it with brass or lead in favorable places instead of stacking it up high with goofy motor mounts & more motors.

Look up rc tough truck challenge. It's a series of races and you will break shit. You try to make the stuff you're gonna break the cheapest as possible. Also the tug a war challenge is hell and where most this comes into play.

Understood, but it's clear that you're not internalizing what we're trying to suggest to you, and instead just trying to justify your predetermined path forward.

A single Racerstar/GoolRC brushless motor will cost you less than a pair of brushed motors, and will negate the need for fooling around with this dual motor business, and will prevent you from adding a bunch of weight up high where you don't want it, so instead you can focus on getting your weight down low where it will help you.

If you're hell bent on dual brushed motors, then by all means, have a blast. If you're willing to listen to the voice of reason, you'll end up with a more capable truck with less effort and less cash spent.

When you start breaking stuff, having 2 motors just doubles your chances of breaking something. If you break your motor mount, then you're really beat.

If you break a $20 GoolRC can, you're out $20 and however long it takes to take the Bomber apart to replace it.

I'm looking at what is winning, not your theories on what may.... or should work. Trust me when I say those involved in said races have been at it for years n years. I think their formula works, I see why it works, and yes I'm gung ho on it you wont change my mind the proof is in the trophies.

But back on the original topic.

I will be either using the wraith tranny or making my own mount. But thanks!!

Hard to imagine but that event didn't originate in floriduh. Around here you won't find a brushed motor on the podium. But by all means carry on with your bad self.
