Default Motor esc questions

Hey all. So I have a Scx10iii also. For my Bomber, I purchased a Holmes Hobbies, puller pro I think, 4100kv.
I also purchased a Hobbywing brushless esc not axe,.
I thought the motor was a sensorless, to match the esc.
Bench test shows they work together. What am I going to be missing without the sensored configuration?

You'll probably miss low speed control

You will have less low end control. So it will not crawl very well. Or I should say less slow than a sensored system. If you plan on bashing this setup more than crawling, you will be fine.

I was planning on a mix of both.

If you drive it like you are trying to win the KOH race. You will be fine. If you want more technical control, it would be a good idea to look into the Mamba X controller. It has settings to take advantage of both low end control and balls to the wall speed.
