4pv WINCH INSTALL

i have a question has anyone used a winch on there bomber without a winch controller? i believe you can set up the radio to a spare Chanel without using a winch controller. has anyone done this?

I'm pretty sure you can't do that.

I may be wrong, I'm sure someone will correct me if I am and I'll be glad to have learned something neat about 4pv.

well i am using a servo winch so i think it should work, harely put out a video on youtube on how to connect a winch ti a 4pl. but the video is so old plus it is not the 4pv

Do you know if your servo winch still has the control board in it? Easy way to tell is if there are three wires coming out, if there are it should work to plug directly into the reciever.

yes it does since i am build a servo winch out of a good servo. my biggest question still remains does anyone know how to program the radio or a video on to do it?
