Why would you? Why a 2wd, when you can have a 4wd?

Only if it's on I-beams.

Two wheel would be fun like buggies, but only you have the back wheels on open diff.

I put an open front diff in my Bomber. Turns tighter handles better. Not really a crawler but I like it that way.

Hmmmm, not quite sure how to pull that off, only one I know of was done by a guy in Colorado for a desert build off event where none of us hit the completion deadline.

I like your thinking....

I already have most everything parts related to build a 2wd rig, considering the light weight Bomber chassis as the platform to build off of. 4"X4" or more. "Engineering" has pretty much been taken care of through the learning curve of my Take 2 thread and previous version.

I built a RWD-only Yeti Score once. My idea was to make it a high-speed drifter (don't judge me! ). Even with a gyro it was tricky to hold a slide and keep it from spinning out. It really just wanted to do donuts. It was fun to drive because it was challenging, but besides that the handling characteristics of 4WD were superior in pretty much every way.

I don't know what you're planning to do so maybe this isn't useful. Don't let me talk you out of any crazy new ideas.

How do you figure? You don't know whats up my sleeve. Not a slow speed crawler specific rig, more of a speedster. The question is to do it true truggy style with a solid axle or get better performance by going IRS.
