Default Bomber front bumper solution?

Hi guys, I have a modded bomber chassis that I got running. I have broken the front bumper that was modded to mount to the upper mounts(wasn't my idea) but I made some cool 3d printed stinger style bumper things but I keep breaking them no matter how beefy.

I used PETG which I guess isn't as strong as I need it:( I probably need nylon.

But aside from the scalerfab bumpers that cost over $40, are there any proper aftermarket bumpers that clear the servo area and mount with 4 bolts?

Thanks
-Spence

3D printed parts are garbage.

Look in the vendor section for chassis parts I think BGR Fabrication is the guy who makes aluminum chassis and parts for the bomber. he may be able to build you an aluminum bumper to fit the needs you require.

The DMG makes a steel bumper that uses the stock location.

I respectfully disagree, my 3D printed bumper have held up very well. They won't survive a wall at full speed. And they might not survive all out U4 racing, but other than that there pretty reliable.

You need to slow your roll, my friend.... as I've got one of Cork's bumpers, it has survived many impacts and I have received multiple compliments on its appearance. Looks as if it was molded along with the Axial cage, with a support truss on either side and the interior of the stinger. My rig is pictured in several threads on the forum. I'm perfectly willing to post an image when I get home as well.

Cork nice bumpers man. They really do not look 3D printed. I broke my stock one and it’s held together with a zip tie holding strong.
