Deadpool Bomber -Poison Spyder Edition This will be the third Bomber in our garage. The first two were RTR versions for my kids. I enjoy driving the Bomber when they’re not using them, (which isn’t often) so decided to put together a kit version for myself. I have an X-Maxx and a DBXL-E so my basher needs are taken care of, going to build a rock-racer for hiking and trails... https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7898/...d9f4528d_c.jpg https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7888/...ca308dd4_c.jpg https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7855/...3998f020_c.jpg https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7863/...1c7d0ec3_c.jpg |

Re: Deadpool Bomber -Poison Spyder Edition Beautiful. That would have to be a static model for me, I couldn't bring myself to scratch up those beautiful axles. All that eye candy is making my wallet hurt. I'm guessing you've already acheived the $1k mark, without electronics. Awesome that the family does it too. Keep the progress pics rolling. "thumbsup" |
Re: Deadpool Bomber -Poison Spyder Edition Yeah even my wife enjoys driving; she has a Summit. I used a lot of the same parts on upgrading the kids Bombers and they've held up well. Most of the work I do on them is preventative maintenance; the Summit is a different story. https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7866/...bfe72d29_c.jpg https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7808/...89fd2161_c.jpg https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7894/...bddc8698_c.jpg https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7853/...3cb89031_c.jpg https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7809/...da9e0950_c.jpg |

Re: Deadpool Bomber -Poison Spyder Edition ESC BEC and dual BEC; lots of lights requires lots of flexibility. https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7880/...a2cc4cec_c.jpg https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7906/...ba523d7d_c.jpg |
Re: Deadpool Bomber -Poison Spyder Edition [QUOTE=Stray;5921707]Nice painting on on the cage! Thanks. If only it would stay looking like that. |
Re: Deadpool Bomber -Poison Spyder Edition Love it! |
Re: Deadpool Bomber -Poison Spyder Edition Didn't like the amount of wires running to the fuel tank with the BECs in there, so repositioned them to the side. Took out Deadpool temporarily for the multiple times on and off with the body. He does fit, but it's tight, and much easier with this smaller guy. https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7899/...b60589e8_c.jpg https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7888/...e43274d4_c.jpg https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7902/...b2c67c64_c.jpg https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7856/...38876d35_c.jpg https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7896/...70fec3ce_c.jpg |

Re: Deadpool Bomber -Poison Spyder Edition great looking build! I really like the way you painted the panels. The silver surrounding the indentations looks great. Question: How did you mount the radiator? I never mounted mine because I never really found a good clean way to do it, but yours looks good. |
