Default Best spool out there?

Hi guys, been jamming with my bomber with a recently installed mamba x sct combo, been having a lot of fun. I upgraded to hot racing spools a while ago when my ar60's were on an ax10 deadbolt rtr that was hopped up.

I thought the Hot Racing spools would be strong enough, but apparently the front spool cracked partially where the driveshaft goes in.

Hot racing has never really been my my favorite... But my guess is why they are cracking is cause of the slop, its just constantly hammering on that 3s mamba x 3800kv 4 pole power... Idk what you guys could think of for a solution...

I don't like the vanquish no slop locker, it can wear out bearings... Vanquish is literally the snapon of the RC world, advertising "great quality" with a premium price when a lot of their stuff is nothing special...

In addition the hot racing spool is file hard or at least very very hard....

Thanks

Yup
Best available spool. You can even have a heavy weight spool to add more weight to the axle.

i have it in the rear of this build, Holmes Puller Pro R 540L 4100kv on Mamba X 3s. withstands anything. would have it in front too but im using Vanquish VXD axles that need a special square hole locker. anyways, I shred this rig and the lurc FI has been amazing. no slop

Thanks guys reasonably priced too! like $20

Would you guys suggest I replace the axial universal driveshafts cause there is some wear on the area between the locker where it engages the driveshaft on both the short and long side from sloppy lockers...

I also have the rear vanquish internal axle driveshafts that I really don't like either, just such a soft hardness steel, and they're pretty worn on the area where the locker engages... Idk what shafts you guys like to run there either...

Another vote for FI spools. If you're looking to place an order from LURC, get some of their OT rear shafts, too. Maybe a slipper eliminator, also. I'd test the fit on the front before spending the money on new CVD's or Uni's.

FI spools are great in mine. I haven’t purchased anything but Axial axles yet, but I want to. My Yeti is really hard on axles.
