Axle tear down and upgrade

So I'm tearing down my axles for the first time. My rear diff cover broke off and I got a bunch of sand in there. While I got them torn down, what are everyone's favorite axle upgrades?

extra peed pot metal axle housings with the big bearing mod and underdrive gears all the way around i like the axial brand unis up front the rear shafts dont matter the vanquish shafts snap just as fast as the chineese off brands the fi spools have just as much slop as the chineese ones in fact the cheap ones seem to have less slop than my vanquish spool or the fi spool the hot racing spool or the axial iron cross lockers i run the chineese locker up front cause its alot beefier than the rest and insicion or fi rear there lighter but i think the metal is stronger
ive taken to buying shafts that are longer than stock and cuting them down for a tight fit for my scx10 axles anyway the ar60s i just live with it

About to replace my axles as they got messed up recently, and will probably just buy Axial.
