Vanquish Rcv ar60 vvd’s Question!
 

I’ve tried searching no luck. My question is does the new 8mm nut for the bigger stub axle fit in the center of a vanquish style method wheel (2.2) . Hopefully someone can shed some light before I purchase . Thanks ! https://www.rpphobby.com/product_p/vps07392.htm

The nut fits fine in the SLW hubs, it is the 8mm nut driver to tighten the larger wheel nuts that can be the issue. You will need a thin walled 8mm driver to fit inside the hub.

Not sure what a "vanquish style method wheel (2.2)" is supposed to be, but the 8mm nut that comes with those CVDs fits inside a SLW-hub.
But you do need a special slim nut driver.
Either grind down something you already have, get the VP tool set VPS08440 or get the replacement 8mm nut driver tool tip VPS08443 and put it into a spare tool handle.
