Default Vanquish VFD in Bomber?

Anyone tried to use the Vanquish VFD in the bomber? Wondering if it fits and also wondering if it fits with dig. Thinking about a Bomber chassis with VFD with Capra Axles. It doesn't appear the VFD will fit the Capra.

No, they're more like XR width, kinda halfway between scx10's and AR60's.

I like where your thoughts are going with this DRM. I think you should go for it and MAKE it happen!

My initial thought was VFD (with Dig) in Capra, but the chassis isn't big enough from what I hear and see. I have seen where the VFD (no dig) has been fit in the Capra, but I am looking for a pure crawling beast so I really want the dig. The other option is the Vanquish SCX10 tranny with the hurtz dig which looks like a smaller package than the VFD....also pretty sure this has been done on bombers in the past.

So then I figured why not a 1.9 Bomber (as been done before) with VFD / dig and Capra axles. The disadvantage is that the Bomber chassis appears to be quite a bit bigger than the Capra which is not great for crawling.

Another option is a 1.9 Wraith chassis. Is the Wrath chassis bigger than Capra but smaller than Bomber?

I really need some transmission footprint dimensions and chassis / skid dimensions.

Dang man. You and I have been on the same brain wave apparently lol. I have been brainstorming this idea for the past few months since I seen a 1.9 bomber. I am thinking bomber cage on chopped up vanquish chassis rails that way you could still have a CMS. Kinda like a nock off Vanquish ripper almost if you have looked at how the cage mounts to the frame rails. But I’m debating running 2.2 wheels and 1.9 tires. Not 100% sure on the axles yet but most likely the Capra or new AR45 depending on how they perform.

I'm curious to see this if you can make this happen as well, however......
