Default Bomber IFS?

Anyone have any idea if you can put ifs on the bomber? I know that you can for the scx10, but could someone point me in the right direction for the bomber IFS?

Maybe just start with an Axial Yeti? It’s got the same rear axle as a bomber

Death Metal Garage (DMG) used to make the B1B IFS kit - he has a FaceBook page - since I don't, I'm not sure if he still does, worth checking out though!

Yeah, DMG has the conversion kit you want. He is up to somewhere around 100 conversion kits made at this point and I happen to still have kit #4. There is a thread on that build somewhere in the depths of the Bomber section.

X3 for the DMG kit, Jerry was the only guy making them that I am aware of, using Yeti and Exo front end parts so you can keep with 2.2 wheels. Check for parts availability and build cost before you get too deep into this idea. I believe Slash 4x gearing is very close, but you will be running 2.2-3.0 wheels to clear the c blocks. JConcepts made a kit for 2.2s to clear, but is a unicorn to find. If you are a fabricator, it is a relatively simple skid extension with the mounting arrangement for the IFS you choose to run. Do know you will be cutting some of the cage structure off for clearance, so once you start, there is no going back. Do note that steering angle sucks with IFS, like comparing my Ford Ranger to my Ford crew cab dally turning radius. Makes for an excellent trail runner rig. Google DMG B1B Bomber.
