| Wheel Hex Compatibility?
I've been out of the loop for quite a while and got my Bomber out of storage. I bought some aluminum beadlock wheels from a friend who ran them on his RC4WD Bully years ago. The wheels won't seat fully due to the "nub" on the stock Axial aluminum hexes. I'm thinking I need to grind off the nub or just replace the hexes but not sure what to get. All the RR10 hexes I'm finding have the same shape as what I have now. I'm looking for a flat face hex like the SCX10.

There's 3 solutions here: 1) Drill out the rim center hole to clear the nub (this is what I do), the hex will keep the axle centered 2) Grind off the nub. 3) buy new, flat hexes #1 is the easiest imo. |
