Default Capra shocks on Bomber?

Anyone tried this? I want to lower both rigs some and was thinking the kit capra shocks are holding oil as opposed to the rtr bomber ones that don't. I figure a smaller bore with dampening would be better than the larger ones with none. Bomber is starting to become a basher/U4/some crawling ability buggy. No experience with shock tuning.

I would think you'd have to change to a stiffer spring. The bomber is heavier than the Capra so you'd have to compensate for that with springs

Good point. I wouldn't mind a little droop but there seems to be a big jump stock vs stock in spring rates. I have the stiffer springs from the capra kit but still way softer than the bomber ones. If it wasn't for the capra upper standoff upper ball ends i would just stick them on there to try. Not sure about swapping the balls in and out as far as the life of the plastic shock cap is concerned. Or the size, if revo balls would fit in the cap at least i could try it without buying stuff.
