How to get a wider track width and stay reliable? I want to widen my 2.0 by about 3/4", so what is the best method to do so? Hubs? Ryft axles? Suggestions anyone? Pros or cons as to which. I don't send it with this rig, just looking for a little more stability. |
Re: How to get a wider track width and stay reliable? i havent had a issue with wheel spacers but that gives you more steering scrub the only real issue there is the added stress on the steering servo and linkadge but with todays servos its moot the front wheel also will need more room under the wheel wells to accomidate tire swing the wheel travals in more of a arc rather than piviting from the center of the wheel if that makes sence then bearing ware but that isent a big issue ether of course a wider axles is stronger my longest spacers are +20mm pretty big on vary heavy rgs and i havent broke or bent anything yet |
