I noticed that they used a lipo battery that is shorter than a nimh/nicd stick pack, which allowed them to mount the esc on the battery tray.

Is there a place to mount an esc if a person is using a nimh/nicd stick pack?

I'm probably just not seein it or something.

Sorry! I don't mean to post in this thread that much, I'm just excited about this rig. My first scaler! Just pre-ordered it and all elects. from ckrc and towerhobbies.

scx10
sidewinder
integy 45t
ckrc wiggle
wolfpack
onyx 220

Is that a good combo?

Something wrong with the pdf-file?
... Still no working .pdf-file (just 5.3 instead of the quoted 8mb) - and an error when trying to download the parts list...

Everything sounds fine. With the 1.9 tires you could even run a 35t to get some wheelspeed but still crawl without any problems. I am assuming the wolfpack is just a 6 cell pack? haven't heard of it.

You can mount the ESC on the backside of the radio box.

Works for me. Can't wait to assemble it! I've never done a kit from scratch. Is it typical that AX80018 Hardware Parts Tree are made of plastic? I thought those parts are metal on my AX10?

So when will the individual parts be available? Like Shocks kits and Frame? Before, same time, or a while after the full kit is released?

They are arriving early next week, then we need a few days to do some final packaging and will be sending them out as soon as we can.

Thanks,
Axial

Axial - will the frame sets be available at the same time as the truck kits?
