purpose of those clip things that are attatched to the frame rail beside the tranny?

If you mount the battery in the back, those clips hold the wires from the battery to the ESC. Keeps them routed down and away from any moving parts.

Thanks,
Axial

very nice touch. I've had a battery pack loose a fight with the spur gear on an X-Trail chassis.

Thanks,

Goes to show that the axial team actually test and put thought into their products
easier to work with than a zip-tie
good job

This is definitely going on my wish list!!!

One question though. So much thought and time went into this design, but why not mount the servo on the frame if axial is truely going for an out of the box scale rig?

This is going to be a great way for a lot of people to step into the scale world and still have a very capable crawler.

It's gonna be a great addition to my herd

Bender,
Your wheelbase came out to 11.5"?
(I thought that's what you said somewhere)

Awesome... just awesome. I agree about the rock rings, would rather have silver or black, but everything else about this whole setup is perfect!

I think a lot of hobbyists have been waiting for years for a truck like this to be released: kit, realistic, functional, detailed, decent pricing. While Tamiya has released some great semi-scale kits, their pricing is too far off.

I can't wait to get my hands on one! Keep up the great work Axial!

Looks awesome. Do you have an estimate on how much the chassis will be?

Does anyone know if the new Tamiya Tundra body fit nicely or requires some mod?
