I saw that, but I pre-ordered so nothing else was at a comparable price. I had to secure one.

Axial, Do you see any probems with 2.2" wheels/tires on the SCX10? Looking to make a mud bogger! |

which bodies are the rest of you that will be building up an scx10 be using? i'm tempted to get the ubiquitous tamiya hilux shell, but some of the proline lexan shells that people have used for their projects have turned out pretty well (and won't cost me $100+). anyway, i'm looking forward to the build threads -- bring them on! p.s. anyone in the market for a "CF-100 Kustom Retro Truck Body"?

I am probably going to running the proline jeep body and heavily mod it. I plan on cutting the top off and making a roll cage and a removable soft top and doing the interior. Where are some pictures?? We should have some pics of these built by now. |

There will be at least 1 more scx-10 kit availble from RPP, I canceled my order today. I only need the chassis, so it was a waste of $$ for me to buy the whole kit. I'm waiting for the first build to hit the pages and see some vid of one these rigs in action. |

Im was planning on using a New Bright JK, but I dont want to mess with the wheelbase right off bat. I want to see what its like with the stock setup for awhile. I am going to paint the stock body though. Maybe some primer looking red underneath and O.D. Green on the outside. After it gets scratched up it'll look a little weathered. |

I only need the chassis, too, but couldn't wait for the frame kits to be released, so I ordered a full kit over the weekend. I have my Tundra body on order, and the 2 1/2 ton rockwell axles I preordered from RC4WD should be released within about 2 weeks or so. My planetary transmission and killer transfer case should be in tomorrow. Can't wait to get started! |

I figure it won't be a waste for me getting the whole truck just for the frame. I'll probably just buy an aftermarket tuber chassis and use the rest of the kit to make my wife a crawler!
