Default Scx10?

Hey Fellas,

I really want to get into the crawling scene and I like the scale rigs the most. I have been considering getting an axial and using the x trail chassis for the scale appearance. But now I see the scx10 that is due out any time now. Do you guys think it would be better to go with the scx10? I was thinking the x trail chassis would give more adjustability to accomodate different wheelbases for certain bodies. But the scx10 might be better b\c money is def. an issue for me...

Thanks for you thoughts guys!

I preordered an scx just because it is a complete kit (other than electronics).
Where as the with the x-trail you have to round up axles, tranmission, links, and tires and wheels.

Personaly I would rather get everything together and at the same time and go from there.

Anyways I think the x-trail chassis is like 30 bucks or so. So if you dont like the scx chassis just upgrade to the x-trail later on.....? You'll already have everything you need from the scx.

My SCX arrives tomorrow I ordered it too because it is a complete kit rather than having to find the axles and tranny. The kit atleast gets you rolling while you decide what to do next!

There is no way you can ever go wrong with an Axial, they have the best products out there period. Parts are hardly ever an issue at most of the LHS's or at comps. The guys from Axial or CKRC are always willing to lend a hand if you're at a comp.

For the $, only way to go! For quality, also great way to go. Took me almost a year to "make" my scaler (axial based,x-trail etal..and yes I am a slow builder) So go for it....you'll love it
