I've been waiting for these builds to show up. I actually think you started the first SCX10 build thread

Looking forward to your progress

Sorry for the delay guys. Family took precedence last night. I was able to setup and at least get some built.

Here's everything laid out.

Building the diffs

Finished the axles and shocks. I like the faux resevoirs.

Found another error in the manual. If you see in the manual it calls for part tree AX80029. It really should be asking for AX80032. This threw me for a loop. It's the first kit I've ever built. So I had some head scratching going on.

Depending on how long it takes me to clean up from this snow storm, I'm hoping to have it build tonight and possibly masking off the body.

Default errors

Thanks for pointing out the errors. I am just getting into crawling and this is one that I'm thinking about. Glad to know that there is a sight I can visit to get tips. Can't wait to see the finished product.

Ran out of time last night after cleaning up from the snow/rain/ice storm. :-( I would have worked on putting the wheels together but I'd like to remove the anodizing first.

Dang it all. I forgot to upload a picture and now I'm at work. I test fit my micro Spektrum receiver and Tekin ESC into the radio box. They both fit. May have to widen the radio box holes to accept all the wires but they do fit.

Looks like you got a lot done. Maybe you said this already, but do you have an idea of what color or colors you plan on painting it.

Nice build.

Are those driveshaft retainer rings included with the SCX-10?

My wife said "that body has to be red". So I'm going with red. LOL I have a 70's Ford F100 as well that I'm planning to do as rusty and beat up.

Nice. All these SCX10 builds are really tempting me. I must resist! I have enough projects already.

Anodizing removed. The green that was left doesn't bother me, that was in the side of the rings.

Default red

Red's a good choice. I especially like the way that he rings turned out. They look really sharp. Lookin forward to seeing the first scratch pictures.
